Product Specifications
Product Name	Fork Mule
Intended Use	Used to assist manually moving forks over on a forklift, tractor, or other equipment utilizing forks.
Usage:	Product is designed to be installed on forks and MUST be done so as a set. DO NOT install just one side right or left. Required tools for installation: 9/16 socket wrench & 3/16 allen key. To position a fork: Raise the forks to waist height, unlock the locking pin, lift the handle upright on the mule to gain leverage on the fork, you will then push forward with the handle while also pushing the horizontal portion of the fork with your other hand. Once in place lock the forks locking pin back in place and lower the handle on the mule to its position inside of the retaining clip. Be sure to keep your back straight and have firm footing when moving forks.
Precautions	* Be sure all bolts are tight and check fitment as a part of pre-shift inspection before each shift. * Be sure to wear all Personal Protective Equipment as required by your employer when moving forks. Recommendations include (gloves, eye protection, vest, hard hat, steel-toe boots, etc.) * Be sure the handle is down and locked back into retaining clip after each use.
Compatible Products	Fork Mules are compatible with most forklifts equipped with 4, 5, & 6” wide forks that do not have a hydraulic positioner in place.
Material	All steel & polymer construction made in the USA designed for a lifetime of use. All hardware / bolts are grade 8 temper.
Weight	7.5 lbs. per side – 15lbs as a set – This weight should be calculated into your load against your overall lift capacity.
Warranty	Lifetime warranty on core product (including side rails, handle, and middle block). 1-year limited warranty on wearable items such as retaining clip and handle bolt. The warranty does not cover customer abuse to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
